The Camden AI Hub, led by Kingsgate Primary School, brings together educators who are keen to explore how artificial intelligence can enhance teaching, learning and inclusion across Camden. With strong digital expertise and a proven track record of leading cross‑school collaboration, Kingsgate provides the ideal foundation for a borough‑wide professional community focused on innovation. The Hub creates a supportive space for teachers and leaders to test ideas, share practical strategies and build confidence in using AI meaningfully in the classroom, particularly to strengthen planning and provision for pupils with SEND. Its aim is to demystify AI, make it accessible to all teachers, and ensure that digital tools are used in thoughtful, purposeful ways that improve outcomes for children.

The Hub centres on the belief that every teacher in Camden should feel confident and empowered to use AI to enhance their work. Over the year, participating schools will help co‑design a practical AI for SEND Toolkit, offering guidance, examples and adaptable resources that support high‑quality planning and inclusive practice. The programme includes collaborative launch and planning sessions, regular opportunities to trial AI tools, and shared reflection on what works in real classrooms. Drawing on national best practice and implementation frameworks, the Hub will work with partners such as the London AI Campus, Google and the Camden STEM Hub to blend local expertise with external insight. Through structured collaboration, shared resources and a growing digital workspace, the Hub will build a sustainable network of practitioners who continue to learn from one another long after the first year, ensuring AI is used thoughtfully, ethically and effectively across Camden schools.
