What is Supplementary Learning?

  • Extracurricular clubs – dance, music, drama and sports
  • Open-access youth provision – centre-based and detached youth work
  • Tutors and tuition companies – support for mainstream or home-educated learners
  • Language schools – provision for children from overseas

  • Uniformed youth organisations – e.g. Scouts and Guides
