We work in partnership with University College London (UCL) to deliver National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) for teachers and leaders across and beyond Camden. Our local NPQ groups continue to be highly successful, offering high‑quality face‑to‑face sessions, strong local networks, and opportunities to share real‑world challenges, solutions and best practice.
We offer the NPQH (Headship), NPQSL (Senior Leadership) and NPQSENCO (Special Educational Needs Co‑ordination) through our Camden‑based delivery model. Programmes are open to existing and aspiring senior leaders from London and beyond for a September start.
All sessions are led by experienced Camden‑based facilitators who understand the local context and bring both expertise and relevance to each session.
Updated NPQ Scholarship Funding
The Department for Education has updated scholarship funding arrangements, with eligibility now focused on specific priority groups.
Fully‑funded NPQs available to all eligible settings:
- NPQ for Headship (NPQH)
- NPQ for SENCOs (NPQSENCO) – now the mandatory qualification for all new SENCos.
Other NPQs with scholarship funding based on disadvantage criteria:
Full course funding is available for teachers and leaders working in settings with high levels of disadvantage, including those in the top 50% of schools by proportion of pupils attracting the pupil premium, as defined by the DfE.
The DfE will confirm scholarship status during the NPQ registration process.
Updated funding guidance for the next cohort is typically released in spring each year.
