The Early Years Learning Hub, led by Torriano Primary School, brings together Camden practitioners to strengthen early language, communication and literacy through evidence‑informed practice. Building on Torriano’s nationally recognised expertise as a Voice 21 Centre of Excellence and an EEF Research School, the Hub supports schools to embed high‑quality talk, rich interactions and purposeful early learning. This work stems from the highly successful Camden Oracy initiatives, where schools saw stronger EYFS practice, improved confidence among staff, and clear benefits for children’s vocabulary and early communication. The Hub continues this trajectory by helping schools design language‑rich environments that give every child—especially those facing disadvantage—the strongest possible start.
Open to senior leaders, phase leaders, SENDCos, class teachers and teaching assistants, the Hub welcomes a wide range of professionals committed to developing high‑quality, inclusive early years provision.
