The Camden SEND Hub brings together leaders and practitioners from primary, secondary and special schools to strengthen inclusive practice across the borough. Led by Kentish Town Primary School, the Hub creates a dynamic professional community where colleagues can explore, test and refine approaches that improve outcomes for children with SEND. More than a termly meeting, it offers an ongoing space for collaboration, research‑informed thinking and shared problem‑solving, enabling staff at all levels to deepen their expertise and contribute to a collective vision for inclusion in Camden.

The SEND Hub responds directly to the priority areas shaping inclusive practice in Camden schools. Its work focuses on developing SEND expertise, strengthening provision and addressing wider themes that influence children’s readiness to learn—including wellbeing, regulation, trauma and change. Members benefit from targeted professional development, opportunities to hear from expert speakers, and access to specialist insights on a broad range of SEND issues. Schools are also supported to showcase their strengths through peer reviews, school visits and shared learning across phases. By connecting educators from across the system, the Hub fosters a culture of collaboration and professional curiosity, ensuring that strong SEND practice is supported, celebrated and continually improving.

Open to senior leaders, class teachers, SENDCos and INCos, teaching assistants and those delivering interventions, the Hub welcomes a wide range of professionals committed to developing high‑quality, inclusive provision.
