Health and Wellbeing

Happy and heathy children are better prepared to learn! The Health and Wellbeing team provides schools with up to date information, advice and training on a wide range of health and wellbeing and curriculum priorities; including statutory Relationships and Health Education (Primary) and Relationships, Sex and Health Education (secondary) as part of Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE), healthy eating, physical activity, mental health and wellbeing, anti-bullying and drugs, alcohol and tobacco education. The Team also provide support on being recognised as a Healthy School and lead innovative and evidence-based interventions on reducing obesity with schools and directly with families, children and young people.
