Teacher of Drama

Hours: Full-time/ Part-time Salary: Main/Upper Scale, Inner London

A Teacher of Drama (willingness to teach KS3 English and/or KS5 Film) – Main/Upper Scale, Inner London (TLR with a leadership role will be considered for the right candidate) 

About the School 

William Ellis School is a thriving, voluntary aided, non-denominational, inclusive comprehensive boys’ school serving the educational needs of boys from the ages of 11 to 18. It is an attractive site on the edge of Hampstead Heath with excellent access to Central London. About the role 

The department is highly regarded, enjoys string cross curricular links with music and offers an ambitious, creative and rich curriculum. Currently drama is taught to all throughout KS3 and is an option subject at Key Stage 4 with strong outcomes. 

The successful candidate will be: 

  • A Highly motivated and inspirational classroom practitioner with excellent subject knowledge  
  • Committed to maximising pupil progress through setting high standards and by delivering effective teaching and learning 
  • Able to motivate, lead, support and challenge students to be successful
