
Last Thursday, Year 13 students across Camden celebrated their 2024 A-level and vocational results. The borough saw an impressive average point score per A-level entry of 34.5, up from 33.3 last year. Ninety percent of students achieved at least two A-levels at grades A* to E, aligning with the national average.
Outstanding Achievements
Among the standout performers were Augusta Jenkinson Chamberlain, who earned three As in maths, further maths, and classics, and Niamh Tarrant, who secured A*s in chemistry and economics and an A in maths. Both are heading to prestigious universities, with Augusta attending the University of Birmingham and Niamh Oxford University.
Vocational Success
Vocational students also shone, with Anouska Enoch achieving a Distinction* in business and double distinctions in media. She will be studying marketing at the University of the Arts London.
School Highlights
LaSWAP Sixth Form celebrated its best results in recent years, with students securing places at top universities. Haverstock School saw over 30% of its students gain places at Russell Group universities, a significant rise from 2019.
