Camden Learning is delighted to announce the appointment of Dame Jane Roberts as its new independent Chair. Dame Jane will take up the post in January.
Dame Jane has deep roots in the Camden community. She has served as a governor in three of our local schools and previously led the London Borough of Camden as former council leader from 2000 to 2005.
Her long and successful career spans paediatrics, psychiatry and senior leadership roles in children’s services, including two terms as a non-executive director on the board of Ofsted.
Dame Jane’s leadership and experience will be invaluable in the next phase of Camden Learning’s strategy as we continue to strengthen collaboration across our schools, forge strong area-based partnerships and improve outcomes for every child in the borough.
Camden Learning is deeply grateful to Dame Christine Gilbert for her exceptional leadership and contribution as outgoing Chair and we wish her every success in her new role as Chair of Ofsted.
