Yesterday, Year 13 students across Camden celebrated their 2026 A-level, T Level and vocational results.
This year, Camden saw an average point score of 35.9 per A-level entry, compared to 35.4 in 2025. 98.1% of A-level exam entries were awarded grades A* to E, in line with the national average.
For vocational results, the average point score per entry also increased to 31.7, up from 30.0 in 2025.
We are also delighted to see the first cohort of students in Camden schools receiving their T Level qualifications, following our recent inaugural T Level celebration event. Among Camden’s T Level students, 92% achieved Distinction or Merit grades, compared with a national average of 68.9%, highlighting the strength of our technical education offer.
These results reflect the excellent work taking place every day across Camden’s partnership of schools, with dedicated teachers and staff supporting every young person to develop their talents and fulfil their potential.
Strong employer partnerships through Camden STEAM have also provided students with valuable industry placement experiences. This is in addition to the borough expanding opportunities beyond the classroom, for example through the London AI Campus, giving students access to enriching opportunities and future-facing skills.
Alongside celebrating this year’s results, Camden Council and Camden Learning are continuing to deliver Camden’s Education Strategy, Building Back Stronger, including our joint commitment to an excellent school experience for all Camden pupils and a post-16 education system that benefits all students.
