Main aims of the project

To develop a toolkit for promoting and implementing a whole school anti-racist approach.

Class 13 to deliver training to hub members on

• Deficit thinking (3 sessions)
• Equity literacy (3 sessions)
• Democratic education/engaged pedagogy (3 sessions)

Class 13 will then create videos/content that can be used by the hub members to disseminate training within schools. This can be modelled by Class 13 in a few schools and they can then support each other’s delivery especially if the school is only able to send one member of staff.

• Developing anti racist policy and supporting guidance (equalities policy, recruitment, targeted professional development and governance) implemented in every school.
